4 Ways to Work From Home as a Voice Actor

by | Apr 5, 2018 | Uncategorized

This is probably one of the most interesting jobs I've come across! I LOVE how flexible and fun this opportunity can be. Full disclosure: I may be the voice of an audio book. That job in particular scored me $500.

Being a voice actor probably won't turn you into a Hollywood movie star, but it will make you some great cash as a side gig AND can provide a pretty great full-time income.

I highly recommend getting your feet wet with these companies.

VoiceBunny – simply pick the project you want to work on, apply, and record for the client. Highly recommended by many professional voice over actors.

SnapRecordings – posts available positions for freelance voice over artists.

Voices.com – major player in the industry. Provides voice actors for some of the world's most recognized brands.

Voice123.com – used by MTV & Universal Studios and many others for voice acting.

Please note: these companies do offer paid memberships BUT they all provide a free option for those who are just getting started.

For all of these positions, you will need a fantastic microphone and a quiet area to record your auditions.

Good Luck!
