I know not everyone is looking for a consistent job or gig but would really like to earn some spending money on the side. One of the more fun ways to do this is with smart phone apps.

Let's face it, most of the times we're on our phones anyway or at least have them close by. Cell phones are something with never leave the house without and for some of us are like an extra appendage. Yours truly is just as guilty. 🙂

Why not find a way to utilize them for some extra dough? Maybe in the school pick up line, waiting for a doctor appointment, you can literally do these tasks ANYWHERE!

While not all apps may be for everyone, with all there is in the wild world of make-money apps, I'm sure you won't have any trouble finding your niche.

Side note – I buy ALL my Christmas, birthday gifts, and vacations with earnings from apps & still have some for extras.

 

Swagbucks – earn by watching videos, shopping, surveys and polls. This is the best all-around site if you are looking for something a little more exciting. They also offer paid search, answer questions, and games!

CheckPoints – get points for shopping, scanning barcodes, answering surveys, and playing games. These points can then be cashed in for gift cards or cash. Use my code mpenczak82 for a bonus!

Easy Shift –  a micro-task application app that lets you earn money by completing shifts. Shifts or tasks involve checking prices, seeing if a particular product is in stock, taking photos of a store display, ordering food, etc. Once you have successfully completed a shift, you will get paid via PayPal within 48 hours.

We Go Look – become a looker and complete 15-20 minute jobs in your area. Most are taking pictures of houses for sale etc. Simply accept and complete your look by submitting photos and get paid anything from $20 – $50.

Field Agent – accept small tasks in your area for a fee. An example would be a Wal-Mart customer service audit for $7. You complete a survery based on an interaction with customer service. No you don't have to make a purchase or do a return. The tasks take 10 minutes or less. They also have scavenger hunts which are also paid.

Viggle/Perk – earn points by checking in, watching television, and playing games. You would then go online to redeem your points for everything from Amazon gift cards (as little as $1) to PayPal payouts.

YouGov – answer surveys and polls about all things ranging from politics to shopping (the shopping & entertainment part sold me). The cool thing about this app is that the payouts are higher than most so you can cash out faster. Cha-ching!

SavvyConnect – you can add this on ALL of your devices (up to 3) and make up to triple the amount on surveys. This one is only surveys with no extra games.

MyPoints – another awesome all around site that is very similar to SwagBucks. However, this one also gives you coupons & codes for groceries as well as travel offers & deals. I've been a member since 2007!

LifePoints – gain rewards for living your life! Wild huh? LifePoints can be exchanged via PayPal or gift cards with great brands like AT&T, Verizon, iTunes, Amazon, Starbucks and others. Complete missions, surveys, and daily challenges. They also run sweepstakes for extra bonuses.

ShopKick – earn kicks by walking into a store, scanning items, receipts, and linking your card. You do NOT have to make purchases to earn kicks. You can literally walk in & out of stores scanning items. It's super easy and yes, Target IS on the list 🙂

Jobspotter – take photos of help wanted signs and upload to the app to redeem for gift cards!

Mobee – complete missions for points to cash in for rewards for gift cards. The missions involve taking photos of displays and answering questions about them. Use code ZQDH for a bonus!
